Grew up in Ohio, born and raised here. I transplanted to Michigan for about two years before I came to my senses and left that Wolverine State to be at home with my Buckeyes!
I took a leap of faith..and alot of “moxie” and I quit my job in this crazy economy to go back to school full time to get my master’s degree in Clinical Community Counseling. There is nothing scarier than taking that kind of leap knowing you are going to have to depend on others and yourself to help support you when you are just about dirt poor.
Huge Buckeyes fan. Huge Toledo Rockets fan. Love football.
Pictured with me is my adorable pup Cody. He is my absolute baby. I will tell you though getting a puppy was quite the challenge. I remember the first week I had him (mind you I was about 23 yrs. old, on my own, in a new town, no friends when I bought him) I called up my mom crying my eyes out about how “I couldn’t handle a puppy, and that it was too much work. I told her it took me 30 extra minutes whenever I wanted to leave and go do something. He was impacting my social life” (not that I really had one at the time) and I couldn’t stop crying. I told her, “Mom, if this is what it feels like to have kids, then I am never having them.” Needless to say she came right up to Michigan and took him for a week. I think she wants grandkids one day. lol.
I have a weakness for Cold Stone Birthday Cake Remix, Meijer Chocolate with Peanut Butter Swirls Ice Cream, Reese Peanut Butter Cups, Salt Bagels from Barry Bagels, and successful, intelligent men. Almost…no let’s say ALL of these, are not good for the healthy body, we all want. lol.
Lovin’ the gym right now. LOVE it. There isn’t a greater feeling in the world right now than feeling fit. Goal=drink my whey protein and get buff. :)
I’m working on my journey, I know you can succeed at yours too!
